Our volunteer leaders for SABINAL ALUMNI are composed of 3 board members and the manager of the Sabinal Alumni Directory from the SHS classes of 1960, 1965 and 2002. There is also a support team of more than 2,000 SHS alumni! Let's go Yellow Jackets!
CAMP SABINAL WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1856 AS PROTECTION TO THE SAN ANTONIO - EL PASO ROAD AND FRONTIER SETTLERS.
Today, Sabinal, located in Uvalde County 60 miles west of San Antonio, is a small farming and ranching community. With a population of approximately 1700, the school district includes more than 500 preschool to 12th grade students.
